August 07, 2026

The mystery of Mir Raza Ali’s death in Karachi could not be solved, and his exhumation has been postponed after his father expressed reservations over the change of the medical board and stopped digging up the grave.Earlier, the exhumation of Mir Raza Ali could not start for some hours, and the time for the exhumation was scheduled for 9 am, and the magistrate, members of the medical board and the police team were present at the spot. Mir Raza’s father stopped the police from exhuming his son’s grave and refused to conduct a post-mortem from the new medical board.

Lawyer Jibran Nasir sent an urgent letter to the police surgeon, demanding that the board formed according to the original court order be maintained. The letter states that legal action will be taken if the grave is exhumed from an illegal board, and the formation of the new board was declared to be in conflict with the court order and the Sindh Medico-Legal Act.Mir Raza’s father said I am not satisfied with the committee formed in the dark of night, alleging an attempt is being made to save someone. If the members of the first committee formed come, I am ready to dig up the grave.
