Massive fire devastates Islamabad's H9 market, over 70 stalls engulfedBreaking

A massive fire erupted in the H9 market of Islamabad, ravaging over 70 stalls and drawing a large-scale emergency response. Rescue 1122 personnel, five fire brigade vehicles, and CDA staff are actively battling the blaze at Bachat Bazaar. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Rana Waqqas, reported that the fire's intensity prompted assistance from the Pakistan Navy, Air Force, and additional fire brigade units. The fire originated in the shoes and clothes section and rapidly spread, consuming more shops. Efforts to control the fire are ongoing, with authorities striving to extinguish the flames swiftly. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken notice of the incident, contacting Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa for updates. On the minister's directive, Chairman CDA arrived at the scene to oversee operations. Minister Naqvi instructed the deployment of all available resources to control the fire, emphasizing the need for increased rescue and fire brigade teams. Additional measures are being taken to manage the situation and prevent further damage.
