November 12, 2025

Indian forces personnel continued their violent crackdown, search operations, and house raids in Kulgam and Shopian districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian army, paramilitary, and police personnel carried out search operations and house raids targeting Hurriyat activists and Jamaat-e-Islami members at several locations across Kulgam district.

A senior police officer said the searches were conducted at around 200 locations, including the residence of jailed JI Amir Dr. Hameed Fayaz in Nadigam, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yousuf Falahi in Chitragam, along with several other premises linked to JI and THK organizations in Kulgam and Shopian districts.

Over the past four days, more than 400 cordon and search operations have been carried out across different areas of the districts at the premises of pro-freedom organizations. These operations have led to the interrogation and detention of around 1,500 individuals, many of whom have been shifted to district and local jails under draconian laws.
