Twenty-four couples from flood-affected areas were wedded in a mass marriage ceremony held at a relief camp in Qambar on Friday. As per details, the district administration organized the mass wedding ceremony of 24 flood-stricken and destitute couples in Tehsil Naseerabad in Qambar relief camp and gave away a dowry of Rs100,000 to each bride and groom. Civil society workers, locals and families of the brides and grooms attended the mass marriage ceremony and instilled a sense of joy amid destitution. The food was also served to the guests and flood victims on this occasion.
