Many PTI leaders in Jampur ditch party ahead of NA-193 by-pollBreaking

The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has got a big shock ahead of NA-193 by-election in Jampur as a large number of PTI leaders in five union councils have left their party, it surfaced on Saturday. To the utter dismay of the PTI, a number of its leaders in five Jampur UCs have jumped out of the ship and announced their support for PML-N candidate Sardar Ammar Ahmad Khan Leghari.

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan has also announced its support for PML-N’s Leghari. The PTI leaders in UC Rakh Azmat Wala, Muhammad Afzal Khan Jogiani and Abdul Majeed Khan Jogiani have left the Tehreek-i-Insaf along with their entire clan. The PTI Dreshak group in UC Muhammad Pur suffered a setback when party leader Seth Hazoor Bakhsh announced his support for the PML-N candidate.

Likewise, PTI’s Jam Ashiq Mehr in UC Tatar Wala left the party and declared to support Leghari. In UC Qambar Shah, Haji Mir Hazar Khan Talpur, Haji Rab Nawaz Khan Talpur and Muhammad Asif Talpur along with their braderi (clan) have bidden adieu to the PTI and have started supporting the PML-N contestant. In UC Barra, PTI leaders Jam Ghulam Ali Barra and former chairman Jam Sabz Ali Barra also declared that they would back Leghari.
