A number of people injured after a powerful explosion ripped through an Imambargah in Islamabad on Friday.The blast was reported at Terlai Imambargah, located in the Shehzad Town area of the federal capital. Police and rescue personnel have rushed to the site and started rescue operations.

An emergency has been declared in the federal capital’s Polyclinic, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), and CDA Hospital. The injured were being shifted to Pims and Polyclinic Hospital.
