A man stabbed his young daughter to death over a matrimonial dispute in 35-Fateh Chishtian on Tuesday.The mother of deceased 18-year-old Sonia wanted an arranged marriage of her daughter according to her own choice. The mother of slain Sonia did not stop when her husband forbade her, so the man got angry and killed his daughter.

The police took the body into custody and shifted it to a hospital for post-mortem. The accused managed to escape from the scene after the murder. The concerned police station took action and started searching for the accused.
