A man in a suburban village of Arifwala killed his wife after she demanded divorce from him. Police said that the man shot his wife Najma dead in village 27 EB. Najma had filed a petition in the court, seeking divorce from her husband, police said, and added they had taken the woman’s into their possession and launched a manhunt. Youth shot dead in Renala Khurd for property A youth was shot dead in 21 AL, a suburban village of Shergarh near Renala Khurd, over a dispute over a piece of land. Police said the deceased had been identified as Haider. The assassins managed to flee from the spot after committing the crime, they added.
