In a tragic incident in the Sukhail area of Ahmedpur East, a man allegedly shot and killed his father-in-law while also injured his wife following a domestic dispute, as confirmed by the police on Wednesday. According to authorities, the suspect, identified as Jahangir, visited his in-laws' house and, after engaging in an argument, resorted to opening fire. Tragically, Khairat Khan, the father-in-law, succumbed to his injuries, while the suspect's wife is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. Police investigations revealed that the woman had divorced Jahangir six months ago. Law enforcement swiftly apprehended Jahangir and is currently conducting a search operation to locate his accomplice. The authorities are committed to ensuring justice in this case and are actively pursuing the investigation to bring all those involved to account for their actions.
