In a dreadful incident in Toba Tek Singh district's remote area Chak-477, a youth along with his father murdered his young sister by smothering her with a pillow. A video of the horrific incident depicting the girl's tragic demise viral on Thursday. The gruesome act was captured on video by the victim's other brother on his mobile to show the brutality of his heartless brother and father. Accused Faisal with the help of his father Abdul Sattar forced the pillow on the victim's face for three minutes, suffocating her to death and then buried her dead body in an attempt to conceal their heinous crime. In the video, it can be seen that the youth also asked his father to give him water after the murder while his brother and sister-in-law were also present in the room.

The police have registered a case and arrested both the killers after exhuming the grave of the deceased girl. District Police Officer of Toba Tek Singh Ibadat Nisar has said that the facts will be made public after the post-mortem and DNA report. According to the police, 22-year-old Maria was strangled to death by her brother and father. Maria was killed between March 17, 18. The reasons behind the horrific killing are still unknown. CM Maryam seeks report from IG Punjab Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also taken notice of the incident in Toba Tek Singh and sought a detailed report from the Inspector General of Punjab Dr Usman to ensure swift justice in this disturbing case.
