A man shot dead his father-in-law while his brother-in-law escaped bullets over a Rs3,500 dispute in Gujranwala. The incident took place in Mohallah Rehmanabad. Police said that the deceased, who was later identified as Afzal, was passing through a street when his son-in-law took notice of his presence and demanded money. A clash erupted between them after which the accused opened fire on his father-in-law and brother-in-law.

Afzal died on the spot while a little girl standing nearby was injured. In another incident, a young man was killed after an exchange of hot words in Gujranwala. Police said that a clash erupted between the victim and the accused at a games shop. After receiving the report, a police team rushed to the site and shifted the dead body to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ). After collecting all the evidence, the police started an investigation.
