A man killed his two minor daughters after he had a quarrel with his wife at Allama Iqbal Colony in Faisalabad, police said on Saturday. During the exchange of hot words, Akmal’s wife Zainab asked him to divorce her.  She said she would also take her two daughters, seven-year-old Iman Fatima and six-year-old Noor Fatima, with her. This infuriated Akmal, who strangled his two daughters to death. Soon, a police team, headed by SP Iqbal Division Usman Munir Saifi, reached the crime scene and arrested the man. The police said they had shifted the bodies to a mortuary.
