Lightning strike amid heavy downpours injured at least 18 people in Landi Kotal, a town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Wednesday night.According to details, lightning struck a house located in Zakha Khel Bazar area of Landi Kotal, due to which 18 persons, including women and children, sustained injuries. Rescue teams shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, rain in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Peshawar turned the weather pleasant and brought relief for the people from the intense heat.On the other hand, National Emergencies Operation Center (NEOC) has forecast more rain in upper regions of Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next 12 to 24 hours.
