After a long wait, different parts of Lahore finally received light rain on Saturday morning, while drizzle was reported from others, increasing nip in the air. Light rain, accompanied by a light breeze, was reported from The Mall, Jail Road, Saddar roundabout, Gulberg, Zaman Park, Garhi Shahu, Dharampura, Mughalpura, Ichhra, Muslim Town, Mozang, Chowburji, Yatimkhana, Thokar and Shimla Paharri.

Similarly, it drizzled in other parts of the provincial capital.  Cold, dry weather forecast for country. Meanwhile, the Met Office on Saturday forecast cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However, it said light rain and light snowfall might occur at a few places in north-western Balochistan.
