On the directiven of Director General Tahir Farooq, the Town Planning Wing of the Lahore Development Authority continued its crackdown against illegal commercial buildings across LDA-controlled areas, sealing a total of 114 properties during operations carried out in various localities.  LDA teams conducted enforcement actions in Defence Road, Babar Block New Garden Town, Shadbagh, Gulshan Ravi, New Muslim Town, and Sabzazar.

During the operation on Defence Road alone, 55 properties were sealed for illegal commercial use.  In Babar Block New Garden Town, seven properties were sealed due to unauthorized commercial activities and non-payment of commercial fees, while 42 properties were sealed in Shadbagh, Gulshan Ravi, and New Muslim Town on similar violations. 

Additionally, during a recovery operation in Sabzazar, 10 properties were sealed by LDA teams.  The sealed properties include banks, marriage halls, marquees, private schools, academies, workshops, electrical stores, restaurants, and food outlets. Grocery stores, bakeries, beauty salons, pharmacies, clinics, shops, and offices were among the properties affected.  The operation was supervised by Chief Town Planner-I Asad uz Zaman and Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali.
