Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said a pilot project will be launched to establish a Law Enforcement Investigation Centre in Islamabad on the model of China.He made the remarks during a meeting in Islamabad with Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) who returned after completing training courses in China and Turkiye. He said the Law Enforcement Centre would bring detention, investigation and summary trials under one roof.

He said it would enable swift and effective resolution of cases involving minor crimes. The Interior Minister said advanced drones will be added to the Aviation Wing of the Ministry of Interior for crime prevention and effective surveillance. Mohsin Naqvi announced that specialized investigation rooms would be established at the National Police Academy. He also announced that international training programs would be made a permanent part of the professional development of police officers.
