The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature of Lahore will go up to 40 degrees Celsius next week. The Deputy Commissioners around the province have been instructed to be vigilant by DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia due to the rain that has been falling in several districts of Punjab, including Lahore. PDMA spokesperson said that the relevant departments are on alert to deal with the emergency, the emergency operation centers of all districts including the provincial control room have been alerted, and the situation is being monitored day and night in the PDMA control room. DG PDMA has directed to make drainage of water from residential areas as soon as possible.
