Lahore once again ranked first in the list of the most polluted cities in the world as the city's overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded 256 points. Lahoreiities are facing cough, cold, and throat diseases due to air pollution and there are many areas where AQI has exceeded 280 points. The AQI recorded Bedian Road 287 points, DHA 237 points, and Maratab Ali Road 209 points. According to the environment department, air pollution will decrease only after rain. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. On Monday, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while partly cloudy weather in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during daytime. On Tuesday (tomorrow), mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
