The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) announced a complete strike in the subordinate courts Thursday over the issue of lodging a case under terrorism provisions against the secretary LBA. President Lahore Bar Asscoaition Rana Intizar said a false FIR was filed against Secretary Lahore Bar Umar Waqas Warraich. Rana Intizar said that lawsuits against lawyers are a deliberate conspiracy against lawyers.The strike urged authorities that case registered against the secretary of the Lahore Bar should be dismissed immediately. Islampura police station has registered a case of taunting and threatening police officials against Umar Waqas Warrraich.
