The Khyber Medical University (KMU) announced on Wednesday that the re-conducting MDCAT test will be held on November 26, 2023. In a press statement, KMU spokesperson said that the decision was taken in a meeting of the university's higher authorities. The test will be organized by KMU and will be held in two cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, simultaneously. The spokesperson added that the university will seek help from the police, FIA, Intelligence Bureau, and other security and intelligence agencies to ensure transparent conduct of the test. Over 46,658 candidates have registered to appear in the re-test for admission to medical and dental colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The registration of 219 candidates who were found cheating or using unfair means in the previous test has been cancelled.
