Kashmiris suffer due to unrelenting military siege, draconian black laws: APHC Breaking

February 21, 2025

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) continued  to suffer immensely due to the unrelenting military and police siege and draconian black laws imposed by Bharatiya Janata Party-led Indian government since  August 05, 2019.  According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said the unresolved Kashmir dispute is the  root cause of tension and unrest between India and Pakistan.

He criticized India for not fulfilling its promise to the Kashmiri people about granting them the right to self-determination to decide their political future.  He also condemned the so-called Chief Minister of the territory, Omar Abdulla for an interview to BBC in which he claimed, “There was no scope of India initiating a dialogue with Pakistan following a spree of attacks on Indian forces and camps in Jammu & Kashmir”. The spokesman said Omar Abdullah is a puppet of New Delhi and he always misleads the people for his personal interests.
