Karachi Police have announced a comprehensive traffic plan for the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and Champions Trophy matches scheduled to take place in the city. The matches will be held on February 12 to 14, February 19 to 21, and March 1 at the National Stadium Karachi. According to the traffic police, Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open for regular traffic during match days, while alternative routes and designated parking areas have been arranged to ensure smooth traffic flow. Visitors coming from Karsaz can park their vehicles at the National Coaching Center and China Ground by passing under the flyover.
Those coming from Millennium will also use the National Coaching Center and China Ground for parking. Karachi Police have emphasized that vehicles must be parked only in designated areas to avoid any inconvenience. Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and follow traffic police instructions for a hassle-free experience during match days. Heavy traffic will be diverted from Sohrab Goth to Nipa and Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square during match days to manage congestion. Similarly, heavy vehicles coming from People’s Chowrangi will be rerouted via University Road.
