Armed motorcyclists gunned down a journalist and injured three others in Madina Market of Muridke district Sheikhupura on Wednesday. Police said that two armed motorcyclists’ sprayed bullets at journalist Amanat Ali Chouhan killed him on the spot and injuring three others. Heavy contingent of police headed by District Police Officers (DPO) reached the scene and collected evidences from the crime scene. The body and injured were moved to hospital for medico-legal formalities where the injured were referred to Lahore.The media organizations held strong protest against the murder and demanded to trace and arrest the culprits at earliest. Meanwhile, police registered a case into the incident and started the investigations.
