Under the auspices of Jinnah Iqbal South Asian Forum (JISAF), a seminar tittle “Jinnah Poverty Alleviation Vision” will be held on 10th December, 2023 at 11 a.m at Jinnah Iqbal Education Campus Asghar Mall Scheme Rawalpindi. Deputy Chairman NAB, Justice (R) Sohail Nasir will be the Chief Guest and Ex-Federal Secretary Muzaffar Mahmud Qureshi will preside over the seminar. Among others JISAF Chairman Rana Abdul Baqi, Cdr. Shahid Nawaz, Poet Nasim Sehar, Col Bakhtiar Hakeem Prof Dr. Aqeela Asif will speak as Guests of Honour. After the seminar, warm quilts’ gifts shall be distributed among the deserving families of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Chairman JISAF Rana Abdul Baqi told that the distribution of warm quilt gifts to the deserving families was a regular act of Jinnah Iqbal South Asian Forum (JISAF). Rana Abdul Baqi referred to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s April 1943 and November 1944 addresses in which he categorically announced that the new state of Pakistan will be a true welfare state, based on principles of Islamic social justice with equal rights for all citizens. He further said the JISAF had been following the vision of the father of the nation under which we distribute warm quilts among deserving families in winter and one month rashan during the holy month of Ramazan.
