Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on Friday said that his party will not favour the imposition of Governor’s Rule or an emergency in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.Talking with the media after a detailed meeting with Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aayan-i-Pakistan (TTAP) in Islamabad, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that his party will participate in the All-Pakistan Conference (APC) and also termed his meeting with leaders of Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan fruitful.
The meeting was held at the residence of Vice Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Mian Mohammad Aslam. Tahreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Pakistan delegation comprised Barrister Gohar, Allama Nasir Abbas, Asad Qaiser, and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.The Jamaat-e-Islami delegation, headed by Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, also included Liaquat Baloch, Mian Mohammad Aslam, and Nasrullah Randhawa. The participants also discussed the overall political situation in the country.
