Jeeyand Hoth from Gwadar clinched first position in Gwadar off-Road RallyBreaking

Nestled in the heart of the captivating Gwadar Landscapes, the 5th Gwadar off-Road rally 2023 concluded with resounding success, highlighting the serene atmosphere and welcoming spirit of the local residents. Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) and Baluchistan Motor Sports Association organized the event from October 17 to October 22 with the support of the Government of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army, according to Gwadar Pro. The concluding round of the “Prepared Category” unfolded on Sunday, featuring a vibrant mix of local and international racers. The competition unfolded along a challenging 250-kilometer track, weaving through awe-inspiring landscapes including deserts, mountains, and coastal areas, adding an extra layer of excitement and adventure to the event. Jeeyand Hoth, a local racer from Gwadar, clinched the covered first position, while a renowned racer secured the runner-up Spot.

During the initial stage of the rally, the first-place victory in the bike category of the “Prepared B Category” was secured by the Iranian biker Behram.in the “Prepared A Category/” Zaighum Chuhan emerged triumphant, claiming the top spot in an intensely competitive field. Their outstanding performances were rewarded with trophies and substantial cash prizes at the prestigious award ceremony held at the Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo Stadium in Gwadar. Senator Kahuda Babar graced the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest. Senator Babar emphasized the burgeoning potential of Gwadar as a premier tourist destination, highlighting the city’s transformation into a smart port city, which, in turn, is expected to attract a global influx of tourists. Stressing the importance of sustaining a diverse range of recreational and sports activities, he underscored the significance of fostering a vibrant and engaging environment for both locals and visitors alike.
