IRSA releases 320,400 cusecs water from various rim stationsBreaking

The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has released 320,400 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 343,500 cusecs. The data released by IRSA on Wednesday stated that water level in River Indus at Tarbela Dam was 1515.90 feet and was 117.90 feet higher than its dead level of 1,398 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 198,000 cusecs and 190,000 cusecs respectively. The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla Dam was 1198.10 feet, which was 150.10 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 28,700 cusecs and 13,600 cusecs respectively. According to IRSA’s data, the release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa , Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 195,000, 200,900, 144,000 and 75,600 cusecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 47,600 cusecs of water released at Nowshera and 41,600 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
