Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi announced the construction of two underpasses to facilitate the residents of Islamabad. He said one underpass will be built at Serena Chowk and the other on Srinagar Highway. Mohsin Naqvi presided over a special meeting in which officials of the Capital Development Authority (CDA)and the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) gave him a briefing about the underpasses project. The Interior Minister tasked the Chairman of the CDA and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad with overseeing the construction and directed them to build these underpasses with full height specifications. During a meeting, officials from NESPAK presented the initial designs of the underpasses project in Islamabad. Mohsin Naqvi ordered the project to be completed in the shortest possible time. The meeting was attended by Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad along with NESPAK officials.
