Directing the concerned departments to remain in constant touch with each other to foil the designs of the country’s enemies, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday ordered these departments to ensure implementation on the plan drawn up for overall security in the country . He was chairing a meeting here, convened to discuss the law and order situation in the country. The steps taken by the government for the protection of foreigners, especially Chinese nationals living in the country, came under discussion at the meeting. Ministry of Interior and concerned departments’ officials, on the occasion, briefed the minister about the security plan. Naqvi made it clear to them that there was no room for any negligence when it came to the protection of the lives and properties of the people.
