Imran essential for Pakistan's stability: FawadBreaking

July 09, 2024

Fawad Chaudhary emphasized that Pakistan's political stability hinges on the inclusion of Imran Khan in the political system. Addressing the media outside the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore on Tuesday, Chaudhary criticized the current government's approach, stating that the Constitution is being disregarded and campaigns are being conducted against judges. He expressed concern over the deteriorating state of Pakistan's institutions, including the Election Commission, FIA, police, and prosecution, which he claims are being systematically dismantled. Highlighting the plight of the common man, Chaudhary pointed out that rising electricity bills and economic mismanagement are causing widespread distress.

He took a jab at the finance minister, a Dutch citizen, accusing him of damaging Pakistan's economy before eventually leaving the country. Chaudhary asserted that major global powers, including China, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and the European Union, are urging Pakistan to bring political stability. He believes this can only be achieved by reintegrating Imran Khan into the political framework. He called for a grand political dialogue to end the prevailing bitterness, stating that the future of Pakistan depends on such initiatives.
