The Islamabad district and sessions court on Tuesday extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in six cases and of Bushra Bibi in one case until February 25. Judge Mohammad Afzal Majoka heard the bail petitions of Khan and Bibi. Khan's lawyer, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, appeared in court. The jail authorities did not submit a response regarding Khan’s appearance via video link.
During the hearing, the assisting lawyer stated that IKhan’s presence via video link was not being recorded. Judge Majoka instructed the lawyers to present their arguments at the next hearing, stating that he would make a decision on the bails within this month. Subsequently, the court extended the interim bail of Khan in six cases and Bibi in one case until February 25 and adjourned the hearing.
