Usman Dost, a resident of Taj Colony in Faisalabad, was shot dead by dacoits while he was returning home after attending the funeral of a friend. This is the 21st incident of murder during a robbery in Faisalabad this year. The victim's nephew expressed his frustration, saying, "Who cares about someone's life? They are sleeping peacefully at home. Emergency calls are answered hours later. We just want justice, that's what we appeal for." The Faisalabad Police have been unable to apprehend the perpetrators, leaving residents in a state of fear. According to official records, more than a hundred incidents of theft, fraud, robbery, and murder are reported daily in Faisalabad. The rising crime rate in Faisalabad has become a major concern for residents. The police have been urged to take immediate action to curb the crime wave and bring the perpetrators to justice.
