IHC restrains FIA from harassing Aleema KhanBreaking

The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday intervened in the case concerning notices issued by the Federal Investigation Agency's (FIA) cybercrime and anti-terrorism wing to Aleema Khanum, the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan. During the proceedings, the High Court restrained the FIA from harassing Aleema Khan and mandated that any complaints or inquiries against her should be reported to her directly. Additionally, the court prohibited any disciplinary actions against Khan without due process. The High Court has issued an order restraining the FIA from harassing Aleema Khan and has directed that any reports related to complaints or inquiries by the FIA be provided to her. Furthermore, the court has prohibited any disciplinary action against Aleema Khan by the FIA. Aleema Khan's lawyer emphasized that there is no evidence to suggest her involvement in any cybercrime. Chief Justice instructed the FIA to furnish details regarding any inquiries or complaints against Aleema Khan promptly. Additionally, he urged the FIA to refrain from causing any distress to her while awaiting the submission of their reply. The court adjourned the hearing of the case for a later date.
