International Finance Forum (IFF) has appointed Renowned Economist Dr. Ashfaque Hasan Khan Sitar e Imtiaz as a member of its Academic Committee. His nomination reflects professional commitment, professional accomplishment and his maturity on which NUST is proud to have him on its management. His presence on the board would be a source of inspiration for all the NUST fraternity, said Director-General of NUST, Eng. Muhammad Naeem. "Rector NUST acknowledges the contribution of Dr.Ashfaqur Hasan Khan and wishes him even greater success in his future endeaours", he added.

The International Finance Forum is a global forum where the former Presidents, former Prime Ministers, former Finance Ministers, former Central Bank Governors , financial and corporate leaders of the G-20 Countries participate.  The current Chairman of the IFF is the former Prime Minister of Korea who invited me to join this institution. The Headquarters of this Institution is in Guangzhou, China.  According to Dr. Ashfaque Hasan Khan their meeting will be taking place on October 27-29 , 2023. Former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz , Mr. Ban ke Moon ( former Secretary General UN ) are the Vice Chairmen of the IFF.  He said, he has been invited to not only become the member of the IFF but also been invited to become the member of the Academic Committee of the IFF for 5 years.
