The Islamabad Capital Administration has imposed a ban on pillion riding in the federal capital territory for 10 days from July 21 to July 30. According to media reports, the Islamabad administration notification speaks that ICT administration has imposed a ban on pillion riding during the month of Muharram for security reasons. Families, senior citizens, journalists and government officials have been exempted from the ban. Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahryar Arif has issued a notification which states that the pillion riding will remain banned in Islamabad from July 21 to July 30, 2023.
