An anti-terrorism court on Saturday put off hearing on the bail applications of PTI founder Imran Khan, vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in cases related to the May 9 riots. The proceedings of the court on the applications filed by the three leaders could not take place due to absence of ATC Special Judge Malik Ijaz Asif who was on leave today. The hearing on the bail pleas was adjourned till January 24. However, the prosecutors and investigation officers of the concerned police stations were directed to appear in the court on the next hearing.
