A head constable of Elite Police was martyred and three constables and the Station House Officer (SHO) were injured in an encounter with proclaimed offenders in Kalabagh on Wednesday. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Police Station Makerwal. As per the details, the encounter took place in the hilly area of Doha near the boundary between Karak district and Makerwal police station. Three constables and the Station House Officer (SHO) got injured in the exchange of fire. The absconders started firing when the raid was conducted after getting some information from the police. District Police Officer (DPO) Matiullah Jan also reached the spot with a huge force of police and elite. The dead body of the martyred constable and all the injured were shifted to a hospital.
