New Gwadar International Airport operationalization preparations enter final Stages and acting Director General (DG) PAA Zeeshan Saeed Visited New Gwadar International Airport. According to PAA new Gwadar International Airport to be operational by end of this month.  During the DG’s visit, Project Director Faizullah Khattak briefed him on airport operational preparations. New Gwadar International Airport project team also briefs airport stakeholders. 

Project team gave detailed briefing on business opportunities and economic zones at airport.  Acting Director General expressed satisfaction on operational preparations of Gwadar Airport. The airport equipped with modern facilities has cost $246 million including Chinese grant.  Equipped with a large runway and modern terminal building, the airport is suitable for all types of large aircraft, PAA said. The airport will promote trade and economic development, PAA added.
