A groom was killed and a child was injured in a firing incident over a matrimonial dispute in Sargodha on Saturday. Murder accused Irfan and Imran were against the marriage and when they failed to prevent it they took up arms and shot dead the groom, Adnan. Bhagtanwala police station personnel reached the spot after the incident and shifted injured Riaz and the deceased’s body to the hospital. However, the SHO of the concerned police station formed a raiding team to arrest the accused.
