A labourer died in a hand grenade blast in an iron scrap warehouse located in Misri Shah area of Lahore on Friday. According to police, a warehouse worker was checking a hand grenade who probably did not know it was a grenade at all. Unknowingly, the worker opened the pin of the hand grenade and as soon as the pin of the hand grenade opened, there was a loud explosion in the warehouse. Labourer Khalil Ahmed's body was badly damaged in the explosion and he died on the spot.
