PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the government should show some seriousness now and agree to hold fresh elections immediately. In a tweet on Friday, he stressed that institutions should not be involved in political decisions and that political parties should devise a framework themselves. “People should be recognized as stakeholders and their decisions should be taken as the final word by rulers.
Chaudhry added that it was important to restore democracy for the country’s progress. On the other hand the PTI leader Shireen Mazari has criticised the Islamabad administration for rejecting the party’s request regarding the landing of former premier Imran Khan’s landing at Parade Ground on November 26. In a tweet, she alleged that the “conspirators” were “threatening Imran’s life”.
