Even for those seeking smaller quantities, the prices are quite attractive. Currently, 10 grams of 24-karat gold are priced at Rs181,756, and 10 grams of 22-karat gold can be obtained for Rs166,609. This change in gold prices can be attributed to a significant shift in the value of the US dollar, highlighting the relationship between currency values and the price of gold, according to reports mainly from Karachi and Multan. On the international stage, gold prices have witnessed a downtrend, with the current rate standing at $1,987 per ounce.
