Police successfully apprehended a notorious gang involved in the heinous crime of goat lifting. Acting swiftly on a tip-off, a specialized team from Chani Goth police station conducted a targeted operation on Friday and arrested the gang's leader, Sajid. According to a police spokesperson, this nefarious gang was notorious for surreptitiously stealing goats and sheep from unsuspecting individuals during the cover of night. These stolen livestock were then illicitly sold in remote areas, further compounding the victims' plight. During the operation, law enforcement authorities managed to recover substantial evidence, including a car believed to be used in their criminal activities. Furthermore, four stolen goats, along with a significant sum of Rs 27,000 in cash, were also seized from the possession of the apprehended gang leader, Sajid. A case has been registered against the accused, and the police have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the matter. Authorities are determined to uncover the full extent of the gang's activities and ensure that justice is served.
