Gilgit-Baltistan CM Amjad Hussain to take oath on July 6Breaking

The newly elected Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Amjad Hussain Advocate, is scheduled to take the oath of office on 6 July at a ceremony in Gilgit. According to official arrangements, the swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Chief Minister Secretariat, where senior government officials, political leaders and invited guests are expected to attend.

Preparations for the event are under way, and the distribution of invitation cards for the ceremony has already begun. Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is expected to participate in the ceremony, underscoring the significance of the occasion for the party. Amjad Hussain Advocate was elected Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan unopposed on 22 June, securing the position without facing any rival candidate in the election.
