Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has extended his heartfelt greetings to the parliament, people and government of Argentine Republic on their Independence Day to be marked on July 09 (Tuesday). In his felicitation message on Monday, he said that Pakistan and Argentina were intertwined in a bond of friendship based upon trust, mutual respect and similarities of opinion on various issues. Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani stressed the need of further expanding people to people contacts while boosting institutional cooperation in diverse sectors. He observed that Pakistan and Argentina enjoy excellent cooperation at international levels and the need is to increase trade and business linkages for the benefit of the peoples of the two sides. The Chairman Senate extended his well wishes to the elected leadership of Argentina and hoped for continued high level of engagements to further consolidate bilateral ties.
