A tragic fire caused by a gas leak claimed the lives of a woman and her two young daughters in a nearby village of Arifwala, leaving a family devastated.  According to rescue officials, the incident occurred in village 2-EB when a stove connected to a gas cylinder was being lit inside a room. Due to gas leakage, flames erupted suddenly, engulfing the area and causing severe burns to the occupants. 

As a result of the fire, a 26-year-old woman, identified as Safia, and her two daughters — one-year-old Fazilat and three-year-old Gulshan — lost their lives after suffering critical burn injuries.  Rescue officials said the woman’s husband was also seriously injured in the blaze. He sustained severe burns and was shifted to Sahiwal Hospital in critical condition, where he is receiving medical treatment.
