Waves of Lahoreites on Basant as rickshaw travel along with public transport will also be free for them.According to sources, as many as 10,000 rickshaws will be available for free travel in the city. Progress continued on agreement with "Yango" and "InDrive" for the provision of rickshaws.Under the agreement, both companies will provide rickshaws for three days.

In return for the provision of rickshaws, the companies will run free advertising campaigns on Basant.Rickshaws will be available in different areas of the city and citizens will not need to book rides online. Passengers will be able to travel in rickshaws from anywhere.Public transport will also be available free of charge in the city. Free buses will also be run to Lahore from other districts of the division. The aim of free transport is to minimize the use of motorcycles.
