Four dacoits were gunned down, and five, including a woman, were arrested in injured condition during different police encounters in Karachi. The first police encounter took place in the Pak Colony of Karachi, during which three dacoits were dead. Police recovered arms, snatched mobiles, and currency from their possession. The second police encounter occurred in Gulshan-e-Maymar, where four dacoits were arrested in injured condition.

A dacoit died during a police encounter near Landi Kotal Chowrangi, located in North Nazimabad. Police said that the dacoit and his wife, who were riding a motorcycle, tried to rob a citizen.The citizen who was travelling in a car opened fire on him with his licensed pistol. During the exchange of fire, the dacoit received serious bullet injuries and died. Later, the police arrested the wife of the dacoit and shifted her to local police station.
