Four people were critically injured when ammonia gas cylinder exploded here on Tuesday morning. According to details, the incident took place in Samejabad area of Multan where ammonia gas cylinder exploded inside an ice factory. The blast also caused blaze in power supply line resulting in severe injuries two four people. Rescue teams rushed the scene and extinguished the blaze. Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Rizwan Qadeer reviews the rescue activities. Rizwan Qadeer informed the media that the injured have been shifted to Nishtar Hospital, the ammonia gas has dispersed of and there was no threat to the residents due to gas. He further said that complete inquiry in the incident will be conducted after which responsible will be held accountable.
