The Foreign Office (FO) has advised foreign diplomats to limit their movements during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) summit to be held in Islamabad on October 15 and October 16. In a letter, the FO has conveyed to them that the government of Pakistan has made strict security arrangements for the heads of the government and other foreign delegates who would attend the summit. Diplomats have been urged to confine themselves to the Red Zone and the Diplomatic Enclave during the SCO sessions. They have also been asked to follow the traffic plan issued by the Traffic Police. The FO has said it is looking forward to cooperation from foreign diplomats in order to make the event a success.
